Movie Stars!

On Sunday, October 28, 2023 our collective met in person at Montgomery Community Media in Rockville, MD at the invitation of filmmaker and honorary dandelion, India Soodoo. India has documented our journey from the beginning in July 2020. A longtime dear friend of fellow dandelion artist Kamala Subramanian, India was interested in documenting our story to share with a broader audience. We had a great time in the TV studio remembering how we came together and the origin story of Project 2020---the impetus for the Dandelion Black Women Artists collective. India's cousin, Kristine Louis was our moderator. Stay tuned, an hour-long documentary of our group is in the works.
